Mrs. Kathy Harrigian, spouse of Lt. Gen. Jeffrey L. Harrigian, outgoing U.S. Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT) commander, is presented a gift by a proffer during the AFCENT change of command ceremony at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Aug. 30, 2018. Lt. Gen. Harrigian served as the AFCENT Commander and Combined Force Air Component Commander beginning in July 2016, and led U.S. and Coalition air operations against ISIS as part of Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq and Syria and against the Taliban and terrorist networks in Afghanistan as part of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel and the NATO Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan. His next assignment will be as the Deputy Commander, U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Keith James)
