AFE Airmen ensure pilots mission ready
Airmen from the 378th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron aircrew flight equipment perform maintenance on equipment Feb. 11, 2021, at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. AFE Airmen are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, packing and adjusting equipment such as flight helmets, oxygen masks, parachutes, flotation devices, aircrew night vision and other ocular systems, and survival kits garments. By giving pilots of the 77th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron the tools they need to accomplish their mission, AFE plays an integral role in ensuring PSAB accomplishes its mission of projecting combat airpower in support of theater plans and operations.
