332nd and 378th AEWs collaborate on hot pit training, increase capabilities
U.S. Airmen from the 332nd and 378th Air Expeditionary Wings conduct hot pit refueling of two U.S. F-16 Fighting Falcons Sept. 30, 2021, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The F-16s were forward-deployed from the 378th AEW, Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Maintenance crews assigned to the 332nd and 378th AEWs conducted a hot-pit refueling training exchange over the course of several weeks, increasing their agile combat employment capabilities by ensuring both F-16 Fighting Falcons and F-15E Strike Eagles can be refueled by each wing.
