Load Toads: locked and loaded Published March 14, 2013 By Master Sgt. Jun Kim 455th Air Expeditionary Wing Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan -- The load crew may not be competing for the load crew of the year, but the speed and proficiency with which they move would give any team a run for their money. These loaders from the 354th Fighter Group in Tucson, Ariz., are deployed to Bagram Airfield with the 455th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Weapons Section. Their motivation for properly and safely keeping the A-10 Thunderbolt II locked and loaded is not for trophies or bragging rights. Their motivation comes from the brotherhood of arms and doing their part for the lives of the Soldiers and Airmen in Afghanistan
