Every week, a member of the 376th Air Expeditionary Wing is selected as the Warrior of the Week. This individual is recognized based on outstanding performance, good conduct, work ethic and most importantly, for a job well done.

Meet the Warrior of the Week -- Senior Airman Shawn Sullivan is a 376th Expeditionary Communications Squadron helpdesk technician from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. He is a native of Muscle Shoals, Ala.

Here's what Sullivan had to say about himself and his deployment.

What do you do on a daily basis at the Transit Center?
I work with customers on a daily basis to solve connectivity, hardware and software issues with computers. I am also the quality assurance evaluator for every printer on base and work with contractors to solve hardware issues on printers.

What do you enjoy about being at the Transit Center?
The outstanding Airmen I work with to get our mission accomplished. I feel deployments are a chance to bring your "A" game for a worthwhile cause, and also expand my knowledge in different areas of my career field.

Why did you choose to serve in the military?
I am the only one in my family to serve in the military. I have always respected everything the military does, and I feel honored to have the opportunity to serve my country as many others before me did.

How do you feel about your contributions to the Transit Center mission and current operations in the AOR?
I feel proud that I am able to apply my knowledge not only as a helpdesk technician, but also as the printer QAE to broaden the skill sets of our communications team. I believe that every Airman has an important piece of the mission. Without all the pieces working together the Transit Center at Manas would not be able to provide its full support function to our partners in the area of responsibility. The better we support our partners the safer the environment will be.

Family: Wife and one child

Time at the Transit Center: Two months

Time in military: Four years

Greatest accomplishment: My wife and I having a beautiful, healthy daughter in our lives.

Goals you want to achieve or meet while at the TCM:
Study hard for staff sergeant promotion test and to gain and pass on as much knowledge as possible.

Hobbies: Spending time with my family and playing sports.

Your best habit: Doing what is expected of me, no questions asked.

Favorite Quote: "Every man dies. Not every man really lives." -- William Wallace

Favorite movies: Gladiator

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him/her?
My father. He taught me how to be a good father to my daughter and that I can accomplish anything that I put my mind to.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why?
Michael Jordan, because I would like to have the opportunity to play against one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
