Kandahar volunteers collect shoes for local children

KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Volunteers throughout Kandahar Airfield collected more than 600 shoes to provide to local Afghan children during the Bazaar School Dec. 31, 2011. The volunteers also fitted the children in the correct shoe sizes to educate them on the importance of proper shoe fitting.
