AFCENT Band visits Kabul

KABUL, Afghanistan -- The U.S. Air Forces Central Command band "Top Cover" visited Airmen of the 438th Air Expeditionary Wing during a tour through Afghanistan Oct. 25-27.

The band visited the wing's "Thunder Lab" and played for students, staff and wing defenders. Thunder lab is an English immersion program for Afghan officers in Afghanistan to help prepare them for pilot training.

The tour continued to Pohantoon-e-Hawayee, The Afghan air force's "Big Air School," on the Afghan air force base where the entertainers continued to "strut their stuff" for students, cadre and a host of contractors.
