Members of the Afghan air force graduated from five different courses at the Pohantoon-e-Hawayee, the AAF's "Big Air School," in Kabul, Afghanistan, Aug. 4, 2011.

Graduates included members from air orientation class, security forces training, C-27 engine and body, logistics and mission planning.

In all, more than 120 AAF members received diplomas and will now enter the AAF to work in their designated career fields.

Now that members have received initial training, they are confident they can enter the AAF with renewed enthusiasm and pride.

"Now I am graduated from this course, I will try to serve my country and my people as much as I can," said Sgt. Nadir Khan, graduate of the C-27 Engine Body course. "I serve especially for the Afghan Air Force so the people of Afghanistan can live in peace and I am really happy today."
