(Left) Senior Airman Jesse Medrano and Staff Sgt. Brandon Craig, 807th Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron Joint Terminal Air Controllers, conduct a foreign object debris walk and inspection of a dirt landing zone in the Zabul Province of Afghanistan near Forward Operating Base Lagman as part of the hands on portion of a Landing Zone Safety Officer class. The class consisted of U.S. Air Force and Army and Romanian Army personnel who were there to be certified to safely run the dirt landing and drop zone. The class was taught by U.S. Air Force instructors from Combined Joint Task Force 101, Headquarters Air Mobility Liaison Office. Airman Medrano is deployed from the 10th Air Support Operations Squadron, Ft.
