On July 6, 2010, two Afghan Air Force flight medics graduated from the Afghan Air Force Flight Medic Academy at Bagram Air Field.

The Flight Medic's course is five weeks long and is taught by flight medics from Marne DUSTOFF, Task Force Knighthawk, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, Task Force Falcon who instructed the class, which included both in-class instruction and flying.

3rd CAB also teaches the Air Assault class for Afghan National Army Commandos. The Air Assault class is two weeks long and combines with the Afghan Air Force Crew Chief class, a third course taught by 3rd CAB.

This is the second graduation for these combined academies which began in February and March of this year.

The Flight Medic Academy is designed to train and equip Afghan forces with the end goal of turning over increasing responsibility to the Afghan forces.
