The Afghan National Army Air Corps 373rd Fixed Wing Squadron transported 101 Afghan National Army and Afghan Air Corps troops May 29th, 2010, between Kabul, Kandahar and Jalalabad.

It was the largest single-day troop movement by ANAAC C-27 aircrews so far.

The Afghans took charge and made critical mission decisions. They recognized an opportunity to consolidate passengers and increased capacity by 28 passengers. This decision saved 4,000 lbs fuel, an additional combat sortie, and enabled their sister ship, with maintenance issues, to return to base.

Steady growth continues for the ANAAC and that means increased support for the Afghan National Security Forces.
