Transit Center helps local hospitals

The 376th Expeditionary Medical Group personnel, at the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, deliver needed medical supplies April 8, 2010 to personnel from the National Surgical Center and the National Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics. The 376th EMDG was able to gather the humanitarian aid supplies and distribute them in a little over an hour after the request for supplies was made. TRANSIT CENTER AT MANAS, Kyrgyzstan -- The 376th Expeditionary Medical Group personnel at the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, delivered needed medical supplies April 8, 2010, to personnel from the National Surgical Center and the National Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics.

The 376th EMDG was able to gather the humanitarian aid supplies and distribute them in a little more than an hour after the request for supplies was made.

The medical supplies included dressing, gauze, adhesive tape, sutures, disinfectant, antibiotics, antiseptics and IV solution.
