SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Airmen, from the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, and Soldiers,from the 824th Quarter Master Company Detachment 8, loaded a C-17 Globemaster III with container delivery system bundles at a deployed location in Southwest Asia, Jan. 9, 2010.

An 816th EAS aircrew later flew into Afghanistan and air dropped the supplies to U.S. forces on the ground. CDS bundles can contain supplies such as ammunition, fuel, food and water.
