Airman killed in Southern Afghanistan

BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan --  An Airman assigned to the 755th Air Expeditionary Group in Kandahar was killed by an improvised explosive device in Southern Afghanistan today. 

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
