NEWS RELEASE: Indirect fire hits Sather Air Base Published March 31, 2009 SATHER AIR BASE, Iraq -- Indirect fire impacted Sather Air Base at approximately 10:17 a.m. March 31. Emergency responders arrived on scene and determined that the indirect fire did not injure anyone or cause any property damage to the base. The incident is under investigation.
