Air Force C-17 mishap at Bagram Airfield Published Jan. 30, 2009 SOUTHWEST ASIA -- A United States Air Force C-17 Globemaster III deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, was involved in a mishap while landing at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, at about 10:20 p.m. local time. There were no injuries to the aircrew. A safety board will be convened to investigate the incident.
