U.S. MQ-1 Predator crashes at Joint Base Balad Published Dec. 4, 2008 By Air Forces Central Public Affairs Combined Air and Space Operations Center SOUTHWEST ASIA -- A United States Air Force MQ-1 Predator assigned to the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, Joint Base Balad, Iraq, crashed on the Balad runway today at about 7:30 a.m. Baghdad time. The extent of the damage is unknown at this time. A board of officers has been convened to investigate the incident.
