Lt. Gen. Gary North, U.S. Air Forces Central commander, signs a muffin for Airman 1st Class Andrea Kiefer, 209th Afghan Regional Security Integration Command, North aerospace medical technician, during his visit to Camp Spann in the Balakh Province, Afghanistan, Sept. 26. General North held an Airman's call for the approximately 30 Airmen stationed at Camp Spann, during which he was informed it was Airman Kiefer's birthday. He sang "Happy Birthday" and presented her with a muffin that she later asked him to sign.

Kierra Kaaoush, 209th Afghan Regional Security Integration Command - North liaison officer, at Camp Spann in the Balakh Province, Afghanistan, Sept. 26. Lieutenant Kaaoush's mother, a retired chief master sergeant, had asked the general to check on her daughter during his visit. While at Camp Spann, General North held an Airman's Call and recognized outstanding performers.
