Air Force, Australian EOD go out with a bang
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Senior Airman Charles Howell, (front center), from the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal flight, looks over the munitions that are about to be destroyed, while other members from his EOD flight and Australian Army ammunition technicians prepare light anti-armor weapon rockets for disposal during a controlled detonation June 20, 2008, at an explosive ordinance disposal range in the Persian Gulf Region. The joint detonation also provided an opportunity for the coalition forces to enhance relations while learning some of the slight differences in operating procedures.
