BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Staff Sgt. Phillip Balson, 332nd Expeditionary Communications Squadron infrastructure technician, mounts a new, durable, weather- resistant emergency phone on a T-barrier in the Air Force personnel housing area here, June 13. More than 120 lines were installed throughout the area to allow servicemembers to give notice of their whereabouts during accountability checks.
