Vehicle accident claims life of Airman, injures two

ALI AL SALEM AIR BASE, Kuwait -- One Airman was killed and two Airmen were injured today in a single-vehicle non-combat related accident while conducting a routine patrol outside the perimeter of Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait.
The surviving Airmen were transported to a hospital at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, with non-life threatening injuries.
The name of the deceased Airman is being withheld until 24 hours after the next of kin has been notified.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
