The 34th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron's B-1B Lancers displayed flags in celebration of Independence Day at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing here, July 4.

Carrying the largest payload of both guided and unguided weapons in the Air Force inventory, the multi-mission B-1 is the backbone of America's long-range bomber force. The B-1 holds almost 50 world records for speed, payload, range and time of climb in its class.

The B-1's are currently maintained by the 34th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit here deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D.
