AGE mechanics get the job done
SOUTHWEST ASIA – Staff Sgt. Brian Van Stee, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron aerospace ground equipment (AGE) mechanic and native of Cheyenne, Wyo., manually pumps a 60-ton tripod jack to test its ability to hold weight during routine maintenance here Dec. 21, 2011. The 60-ton tripod jack is used on the flightline to lift aircraft during maintenance. The 379th EMXS AGE Flight keeps test equipment, tow vehicles, bomb jammers, electronic circuitry and other aircraft support equipment working.
