Reach for the STARS

Kyle Tecmire, U.S. Air Forces Central Command cyber transport technician, help a student from a local school release a water-propelled rocket into the air Nov. 20 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Each of the 20 students launched hand-built rockets crafted out of water bottles, cardboard and duct tape as part of the Science and Technology Advancement and Relationships (STARS) program.
