380th Air Expeditionary Wing Public Affiars

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- The 380th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron Aerospace Ground Equipment Flight is comprised of 42 active-duty and Air National Guard Airmen who provide 24/7 maintenance support to assigned aircraft, maintenance back shops and transient aircraft. On average, the unit delivers 6,000 pieces of equipment to the flightline, complies with more than 500 maintenance actions and completes approximately 100 scheduled inspections each month. The biggest challenge the unit faces is combating the effects of extreme weather conditions while keeping equipment operational and corrosion free during the hot summer months.
