On Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, Airmen of the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing gathered to honor and remember all veterans.

The program was put together by the First Four organization, with Chaplain (Capt.) Jonathan Hurt saying the invocation and Brig. Gen. Guy Walsh, 451st AEW commander, as the guest speaker.

It was a moment to remember all the men and women who served honorably and with valor.

"Their sacrifice, mixed together with ours, serve to remind us daily, there are things in this world worth fighting and even dying for," Chaplain Hurt said. "Many have made the ultimate sacrifice. May we honor them by the manner in which we live our lives and carry on our mission."

"It's very important for us to honor those just like you who serve in uniform and to honor our Airmen throughout the world," said General Walsh. "Thank you for your sacrifices..."

The flag was then lowered to half-staff in honor of all veterans.
