Wing receives abundance of donated clothes, books, DVDs
Chief Master Sgt. Michael Edwards hands Staff Sgt. Christopher Davidson a box of donated items to store until needed, here, Oct. 16. The son of Lt. Col. Bill Otter, who recently redeployed from Kandahar Airfield as the 772nd Expeditionary Airlift Squadron commander, put together an Eagle Scout project in which more than 400 DVDs and more than 300 books were donated to the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing. Will Otter, a boy scout from Troop 23 in Cabot, Ark., sent 50 boxes filled with items donated from members within his community and Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. In a letter he wrote to the wing he said collecting the donations was a challenging but rewarding process and hopes all will be excited to read and watch them just as much as he was to send them.
