SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. – U.S. Air Force aircraft and Airmen currently deployed in the U.S. Central Command area of operations will participate in the Dubai Airshow, scheduled for Nov. 8-12, 2015, at the DWC, Dubai Airshow Site.
The Dubai Airshow is recognized as the premier aviation and aerospace industry event in the Middle East region and is one of the largest air shows in the world.
Airmen are planning to provide static displays of the F-15E Strike Eagle, C-130J Super Hercules and CV-22 Osprey, as well as fly-bys of a B-1B Lancer and F-22 Raptor.
“U.S. participation in this event builds upon our strong relationship with the UAE and enhances our relationships with other allies and partners in the region,” said Lt. Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., commander of U.S. Air Forces Central Command. “It’s also a great opportunity to highlight U.S. Air Force aviation technology and the men and women who serve in our force.”
