The 332nd Expeditionary Security Forces Group has enough fire power to give Rambo a run for his money.

The 332nd ESFG armory has hundreds of weapons, consisting of 10 different types ranging from an M-9 handgun to an M-107 long-range sniper rifle. The armory's mission is to arm up on duty SF and Force Protection personnel for Joint Base Balad. They are in charge of issuing and turning in weapons and ammunition, accountability of all assets, and maintenance of weapons. They are in possession of more than $6 million in assets.

"Our 10-person section currently operates the largest SF 24/7 armory in the area of responsibility in direct support of the largest SF deployment since the Vietnam War," said Tech. Sgt. Sean Nichols, 332 ESFG armory non-commissioned officer in charge, deployed from Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, and a native of Fullerton, Calif.

Without the armory, the members of JBB would have to carry their weapons and ammunition at all times, and it would be difficult to replace parts and receive more ammunition when needed.
