The Royal Bahraini Air Force, the United States Air Force and Lockheed Martin celebrated the first F-16 Block 70 delivery to Bahrain during a ceremony at Lockheed Martin’s Greenville, South Carolina site March 10, 2023. The Block 70/72 features advanced avionics, a proven Active Electronically Scanned Array radar, a modernized cockpit with new safety features, advanced weapons, conformal fuel tanks, an improved performance engine, and an extended structural service life of 12,000 hours.
