An Airman form the 7th Expeditionary Air Mobility Unit directs a Boeing E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar Systems aircraft to park after completing its 100K combat hours milestone mission June 2, 2015 Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The E-8C JSTARS and its active duty, guard and reserve service members conduct missions overseas to support operations on the war on terror. CCAF graduation held for Al Udeid Airmen
Airmen that received their Community College of the Air Force diplomas pose for a group photo with Brig. Gen. Darren E. Hartford, Commander 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, and Chief Master Sergeant Danny L. Crudup, Command Chief, 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, April 28, 2015, at the Blatchford-Preston Complex theater Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The Community College of the Air Force is a regionally-accredited school, and CCAF degrees are only offered to Air Force service members. Tuition assistance will cover many courses, through both on-campus and distance learning schools. The Base Education and Training Office are open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday and they can provide additional information on educational opportunities afforded to service members. Graduates hold their Community College of the Air Force diplomas after the recognition ceremony April 28, 2015, at the Blatchford-Preston Complex theater Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Graduations are held annually across the Air Force. Depending if the graduate is available to attend, certificates are also mailed to their location. This was the third graduation to ever happen at Al Udeid since being introduced here in 2014. Two graduations are held throughout the year to better accommodate deployed members.
