Manas Air Base Airmen touch hearts of the tenderhearted
Staff Sgt. Shaun Riendeau holds a child who is recovering from heart surgery at the Bishkek Institute of Cardiology, known as the Children's Heart Hospital, in Kyrgystan. In his off duty time, Sergeant Riendeau participates in the Manas Air Base Outreach Society which is a private, nonprofit, volunteer service organization that works with local charities to support the greater Bishkek area and communities near the base. MABOS has funded 128 heart surgeries since 2003. Sergeant Riendeau is deployed with the 376th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron and is stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
