MANAS AIR BASE, Kyrgyz Republic – Staff Sgt. Drew Selten, 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron security escort, is the Warrior of the Week. Sergeant Selten is deployed here from 402nd Maintenance Group at Robins Air Force Base, Ga. The Sherwood, Ore., native said he enjoys being part of a base with such a broad mission and the frozen yogurt here at the dining facility isn’t too bad either. Sergeant Selten joined the Air Force to get an education, see the world and serve his country. ‘Providing Force Protection is a key element to the mission at Manas Air Base and I am glad that I can be a part of the mission by providing a front line defense against terrorism,’ he said.
