Senior Airman Brandon Traywick, 407th Expeditionary Communications Squadron radio frequency transmission journeyman, explains to Col. John Gonzales, 407th Air Expeditionary Group commander how to properly assemble a communications fly-away kit at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, April 16, 2018. In the event of a system failure or shut down, the CFK can be deployed operationally in less than 30 minutes, allowing quick communication support if needed. The 407th ECS provided leadership with a hands-on look into the squadron's daily operations enhancing their understanding of the unit's mission capabilities.
