Warrior of the Week
Tech. Sgt. Jennifer Trahan, 455th Expeditionary Aerial Port Squadron, prepares to load an aircraft at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, May 9. Sergeant Trahan was chosen as the Warrior of the Week for supervising 45 engine running on- and off-loads with zero mishaps. She also expedited the build-up of cargo tiedown and pallets and handles $11 million in critically needed assets. She also orchestrated support for the loading of food, fuel and supplies for more than 100 air drop missions re-supplying foward operating bases. Sergeant Trahan also assisted in the C-17 Globemaster recovery effort and directed movement of mission capabilities and equipment to the site. Staff Sgt. Gregory Fifer, Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants flight, inventories money for the fuels shop at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, April 29. Sergeant Fifer was chosen as the Warrior of the Week for maintaining command and control of flight operations, managing the cash sales program for 1.5 million gallons of jet fuel. MANAS AIR BASE, KYRGYZSTAN – Staff Sgt. Jason Richardson, 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron pavements and equipment craftsman, is the Warrior of the Week. Sergeant Richardson is deployed here from the 9th CES at Beale AFB, Calif. The Oroville, Calif., native said he enjoys the experience of working with all the different people here.
