Mother Alex: remembering the mom of the flightline
Members of the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing gathered around the T-wall of Staff Sgt. Alexandria Morrow at 12:21 a.m. March 22, 2018, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia to pay their respects. She passed away during a bomb loading accident March 22, 2017. One of her nicknames was “Mother Alex” because of how she took care of everyone on the flight line. Members played Taps, held a moment of silence and performed a flag folding ceremony. An honor guard team comprised of members of the 332nd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron perform a flag folding ceremony in honor of Staff Sgt. Alexandria Morrow in Southwest Asia March 22, 2018. The squadron held a moment of silence performed a flag folding ceremony and then finished with Taps. She passed away during a bomb loading accident March 22, 2017. Her co-workers called her the “Mom of the flight line” because of how she took care of everyone. Morrow passed away the following year during a bomb unloading accident. Morrow, also known as “Mother Alex” or “the mother of the flight line” was a wife and mother of two.
