AAF increases standardization and evaluation processes

Members of the Afghan Air Force, along with advisors from NATO Air Training Command-Afghanistan listen to speeches and discuss future goals during the first annual AAF Aircrew Standardization and Evaluation Conference held June 11, 2013 at the Kabul International Airport, Afghanistan. The conference focused on three main objectives of standardization and evaluation; to standardize, to assess and to amend. The AAF also recently underwent reorganization in order to establish and identify specific standards and evaluations positions within each group, squadron and for each aircraft. These positions will be filled with trained and qualified evaluators that will continually uphold standards within each unit. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Anastasia Wasem)
