Tech. Sgt. Allen Lewis, 438th Air Expeditionary Wing, and Capt. Thomas Star, 538th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron, lay out freely pressed fuel pucks and bricks to dry for about a week. As part of Operation Outreach, a community service organization, members of NATO Air Training Command-Afghanistan spend every Friday and Saturday evening turning shredded paper, sawdust and water into pucks and bricks that are donated around Kabul and can provide fuel for up to 20 or 40 minutes respectively.
