A participant of the Kyrgyzstan Industry Training Symposium searches for his name tag April 24, 2012, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Attendees received information regarding opportunities and requirements for working with representatives of the U.S. government including the 376th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron at the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan. The past 10 years the Transit Center has been open, the local businesses have seen an increase in sales. On a daily basis, 6,000 copies of Stars and Stripes are printed in Bishkek for distribution on the Transit Center as well as every month $200,000 worth of water is purchased from a local company to support service members and civilian contractors.
