10K pounds of mail

Sorting more than 10,000 pounds of mail delivered to the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, post office volunteers from the 376th Expeditionary Communications Squadron and the 966th Air Expeditionary Squadron place packages and letters in designated unit bins March 11, 2012. "We could not do this by ourselves," said Greg Bonar, 376th ECS postal clerk. The largest shipment of mail the post office has ever received at one time was 14,000 pounds. Bonar has worked at the Transit Center post office for two and a half years and his hometown is Hanover, Ill. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Tracy L. DeMarco)
