Airman 1st Class Eric Geren, 332nd Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron Non-Destructive Inspections flight member, uses a black light to check for cracks in an aircraft part at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, March 7, 2012. The part is sprayed with a luminous, paint-like substance, which can seep into open areas. After a rest period the part is inspected with a black light to locate cracks or other open spaces.
