U.S. advisors teach self defense to Afghan air force women

Capt. William Boland, a force support officer with the 439th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron, instructs Afghan air force Lt. Nafisa Adeb, on the basic knee strike that can be used to aid in escaping an attacker during a women's self-defense class at Kabul International Airport, Feb. 29, 2012. The training was held to prepare the students physically and mentally for what they may experience if placed in a dangerous scenario.
