Staff Sgt. Brandon Richard, U.S. Air Forces Central Command band ‘Top Cover’ drummer, performs during a farewell concert at Memorial Plaza Nov. 25, 2011, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. During its deployment, the band toured seven countries and made more than 80 appearances, playing such songs as “Forget you” by Cee-Lo Green, “R.E.S.P.E.C.T” by Aretha Franklin, “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey and “Freebird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
