Reach for the STARS

Tech. Sgt. Kyle Tecmire, U.S. Air Forces Central Command cyber transport technician (left), and Master Sgt. Shawn Galbraith, 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron expeditionary theater distribution center NCO in charge, assemble a water-propelled rocket for students at a local school Nov. 20 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Each of the 20 students launched hand-built rockets crafted out of water bottles, cardboard and duct tape as part of the Science and Technology Advancement and Relationships (STARS) program.
