Deployed contracting Airmen takes on big job at Dubai Airshow 2011

Tech. Sgt. Ian Black, the contracting officer for the 380th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron, goes over a contract for lodging arrangements for U.S. participants in the Dubai Airshow 2011 with Mr. Halim Droubi, the director of sales for one of the participating hotels. Black acts a liaison for all contracts and vendors for U.S. participants in the air show. The air show will highlight a variety of U.S. Air Force, Navy and Army aircraft showcasing the range of U.S. military airpower capabilities. Aircrew and support personnel from bases in the gulf region, Europe and the U.S. are participating in the event, which is expected to draw more than 55,000 visitors. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
