Combat Truckers

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joseph Worrell, 70th medium truck detachment, carries "class-1" (sports drinks) to his truck before beginning the third leg of a seven day convoy on Oct. 26, 2011. The truckers typically load coolers in their trucks with sports drinks, energy drinks and sweet snacks to help keep them awake while traveling all night. The team is taking 43 vehicles and 60 passengers more than 1,100 miles through Iraq to transport equipment and supplies out of the country in order to meet the military transition deadline.
