2011 Dubai AirShow

Darin Linse, a contractor with the 380th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, attaches a connector on the end of a cable so that it can be used with a computer. Linse is part of an 11-member communications team from U.S. Air Forces Central Command that was sent to Dubai to stand-up three operations centers for the 2011 Dubai Air Show. The operations centers will give U.S. military personnel access to military communications networks so they can check work email and reach back to their home units along with morale computers so they can stay in touch with friends and family members. The Dubai Airshow is internationally acclaimed as the third largest Airshow in the world and the premier aviation and air industry event in the gulf region. The U.S. will showcase a variety of military aircraft at the event through static displays and aerial demonstrations. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Tech. Sgt. Patrick Mitchell)
