2011 Dubai AirShow

Amanda Campbell, a contractor with the 380th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, runs lines for a military communications network in one of the operations centers at the 2011 Dubai Airshow that will enable accountability of U.S. Air Force personnel at the event. Campbell is part of an 11-member communications team from U.S. Air Forces Central Command that was sent to Dubai to stand-up three operations centers for the 2011 Dubai Air Show. The operations centers will give U.S. military personnel access to military communications networks so they can check work email and reach back to their home units along with morale computers so they can stay in touch with friends and family members. Aircrew and support personnel from bases in the gulf region, Europe and the U.S. are participating in the Airshow, which is expected to draw more than 55,000 visitors. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Tech. Sgt. Patrick Mitchell)
