Flight medic course

Afghan Air Force Sgt. Abdul Malik, teaches new students how to start IV’s and administer fluids during a joint flight medic and loadmaster course at Kabul International Airport, Kabul, Afghanistan, Oct. 26, 2011. Medical advisers from the 438th Air Expeditionary Advisory Group, led the training with a goal of certifying ten AAF ground medics who were learning to apply their skills in the air. The goal, said advisers, was to improve the medics safety procedures, egress techniques and to demonstrate the proper configuration of litter patients inside the aircraft.
