Staff Sgt. Chase Schexnayder, 447th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, ties off the loose end of a cargo strap securing cargo pallets, worth $1,200 a piece, to a flatbed tractor trailer truck at Victory Base Complex, Iraq, Oct. 14, 2011. Schexnayder works in the passenger services section of air transportation at Sather Air Base, Iraq and is deployed from the 437th Aerial Port Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Asset recovery teams from the 447th ELRS have reclaimed more than $750,000 worth of cargo pallets, cargo nets, and radio frequency identification tags and returned them to the airlift system.
